As a kid, I spent hours watching creators build something out of nothing. I could see exactly how they did it, what worked, what rang false. And I did nothing. I just watched.

Then came a hollow stretch. No particular drama — just years of knowing what I wanted to do without finding the courage to start. I won’t romanticize that period: it was ordinary, and that is exactly what made it hard.

At 18, I stopped waiting. No magic turning point, no inspirational quote — a decision, then a routine held day after day. That discipline, built ever since, is what runs ASCEND today. Not innate talent, not luck: steady, verifiable work you can watch unfold on @ascend.samuel.

Why am I telling you this here? Because if you are reading this page, we are probably already talking, or you are checking who I am before replying. That is exactly the right reflex.
